How much are tickets and where can we buy them?
Tickets are $25 per person (18+), children are free. Tickets must be purchased here prior to your arrival.

How much does the Shuttle Bus cost one way/return?
Kingaroy Shuttle Bus costs $40/person return or $20/person one way.
What is the Timetable for the Shuttle Bus?
Pursers Coaches operate a Shuttle Bus departing Glendon Street Bus Station, Kingaroy with several departure times.

Can we book a camping site?
Full camping sites are available for caravans, camper trailers and swags. Booking for Thursday and Friday night are encouraged - first in best dressed! Click here for more details
Can I bring dogs or pets?
Dogs [and any other pets] are strictly prohibited by order of Racing Qld. This includes racetrack, surrounding camping and parking area.
Can I bring my own water and soft drink?
Bottled drinking water and soft drinks are available to purchase however you may wish to bring your own. All bags and eskies will be subject to security checks upon entry to ensure (no alcohol or glass permitted).
Where can I buy/do I need tickets for water & softdrinks?
No. Tickets are only required for the purchase of alcoholic beverages at the Bar. Non-alcoholic drinks are available to purchase with cash at Chahpingah Hall or from the food service areas.
What time is the first race?
Race Day Program will be released soon - this comes from Racing Queensland.

Do you sell merchandise and where?
Burrandowan Picnic Races merchandise is available to purchase from the Hall. There is a fab selection of vests, hats, shirts, mugs and other great pieces to take home as a memento of your fun-filled day!
Where can I get First Aid assistance?
Please go directly to the First Aid vehicle located near the main entrance gate opposite Chahpingah Hall.
Is there mobile phone reception?
No, there is no mobile phone reception. There is a landline facility in the Secretary’s office for emergency use only.
Are there ATMs?
No. There are no ATM facilities at the track. Please bring cash.
What time does the bar open/close?
The Main Bar will operate between 11.00am – 10.30pm. The Wine Bar will open at 11.00am and close after the last race.
Can we bring tables/chairs into licensed area to watch races?
Yes, you are welcome to bring chairs, tables or picnic rugs to relax and enjoy the day. Please note that pop-up tents are not allowed into the licensed area.
PIT-FIRED BBQS IN THE EVENING
What are the fire pits?
Traditional open fire barbeques are made with besser bricks and covered by steel mesh. Come sunset, the flickering embers are ready to cook your steak to perfection.
What do we need to bring?
We provide the steak, bread rolls and the bbq, you provide the rest! So depending on how fancy you like your BBQ meal, remember to bring BBQ tools, plates, cutlery, salads, tables, chairs. If you’re travelling light you’ll just have to make friends quickly!
Where do we buy meat for fire pits?
Purchase your meat tickets at the Steakhouse located inside the track near the pits. Click here for more details.
Where are the fire pits located?
The pits are located inside the race track at the eastern end of the grounds closest to the horse entrance.
What time can we start using the fire pits?
Access to the pits after the last race only.
Are the fire pits licensed?
The fire pits are outside the licensed area and no drinks are to be taken from the licensed area. The fire pit bbq is BYO alcohol.
